Music for modern media is an exercise in emotional pacing, translating narrative subtext into compelling arrangement, tracking, and synthesis. Utilizing a versatile digital toolkit, these pieces span a wide variety of genres, original compositions, and custom sonic branding. The work flows from initial melodic tracking and large-scale remote file synchronization to final polished master files. Every asset reflects a deep understanding of musical architecture, instrumentation, and arrangement variables tailored specifically to elevate modern digital creator culture and traditional broadcast media alike.
Created for the Virtual Video Game Orchestra's self-produced mixtape series, this whimsical yet spooky cover showcases custom synthesizer design and multi-track mixing. I designed two original virtual instruments in Ableton: a theremin synth built from scratch, and a chromatic instrument sampled from my childhood music box. The music box was created by recording the toy's limited melody and manipulating those few notes into a full playable chromatic range with applied effects, transforming a nostalgic sound into an eerie, atmospheric synth.
After designing the instruments, I tracked live bass clarinet in my home studio and integrated it alongside 33 individual tracks submitted by remote performers. Because these submissions ranged from cell phones to professional microphones, the project required precise audio editing, pitch correction, frequency balancing, and strict alignment to a master click track to synthesize diverse source materials into a single, cohesive mix.
Tools: Ableton Live (synth design), Cubase (audio editing & mixing)
Mixed for Virtual Video Game Orchestra's "Press VVGO" mixtape, this jazz orchestra arrangement required editing and balancing 34 tracks submitted by remote performers using various recording setups. Synchronized all tracks to a master click, applied pitch correction and EQ adjustments, and crafted a cohesive mix from diverse source material to capture the energetic, brassy character of the original theme.

An educational parody addressing military operations security, set to the melody of 'We Don't Talk About Bruno' from Encanto. I co-wrote the lyrics while managing the end-to-end production pipeline. This included directing and tracking vocalists in my home studio, arranging the instrumentation using VST synthesizers, and executing the final mix and master. This project demonstrates comprehensive, concept-to-delivery production capabilities, balancing lighthearted cultural parody with clean, professional pop-style vocal engineering.

An original, dark ambient arrangement of the haunting mermaid melody from Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, performed and mixed entirely from scratch. This project was designed from the ground up as a live looping performance piece to showcase real-time audio capturing, layering, and mixing capabilities.
I personally executed all studio tracking and sound design for this project, which includes:
Vocal Performance & Tracking: Recording and engineering my own live vocal leads and harmonies under tight rhythmic synchronization.
Custom Synthesis: Creating two distinct virtual synthesizers built entirely from manipulated and pitched vocal samples.
Organic Sampling: Recording and processing a childhood music box, kitchen utensil percussion, ocean field recordings, and an acoustic guitar patch transformed into a unique digital synth.
Tools: Ableton Live (arrangement, sampling, live performance)
Self-produced conceptual piece created in Ableton Live, blending my custom music box instrument with dialogue from Charlie Chaplin's final speech in The Great Dictator and an instrumental stem from Disturbed's "Sound of Silence" cover. Working within a strict 2-minute time constraint, I edited the instrumental stem and strategically cut Chaplin's speech to match the rhythm and pacing of the track. Careful attention was paid to emotional alignment—matching hopeful phrases with major chords and darker moments with minor progressions to enhance the narrative impact.
